She is survived by: her husband Carson Dean Sims; her children, Teresa Nichole Frazier, Richard Moffett Spencer, Jr. and Robert Derik Spencer (Jessica Ann Veltrie); her stepdaughter Cristan Dean Sims; her grandchildren, Ethan Frazier, Elijah Frazier, Julie Lee Ford and Aurora Rose Spencer; her brothers, James Clifford Ladd (Angie) and Henry Jasper Ladd (Nikki); her nephews, C. J. Ladd and Brandon Henry Ladd; and her niece Ashley Renee Ladd.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Strickland and Jones Memorial Funeral Services (1810 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
