It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Rose Ellington (Henderson, North Carolina), who passed away on December 7, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Jerome Rose and Rhoda Zeanie Harris Rose; her husbands, Vencen V. Morton, Sr. and Hugh Ellington, Jr.; and her siblings, Marvin Peete Rose, David L. Rose and Martha Rose Fowler.
She is survived by: her children, Vencen Vernon Morton, Jr. of Butner, NC and Glenda Rose Morton; her stepson Ralph Ellington, Sr. (Delores) of Henderson, NC.; her grandchildren, John Christopher "Chris" Morton (Michelle), Suzanne M. Claffee (John), Donnie E. Warren, II (Jennifer) and Neil M. Warren; and her stepgrandchildren, Ralph Ellington, Jr. (Kelly) and Susan Ellington. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
