He is survived by: his mother Patricia Ann Hargrove; his wife Deitra Michelle Hargrove; his children, Mario Hargrove, Marcus Hargrove, Frederick Hargrove Jr., DeAndre Glasco, Sasha Hargrove, Frederica Hargrove, DeShawndra Glasco (Kelsha) and DeKayla Walters; his siblings, Christpher Hargrove (Tiffany), Curtis Hargrove (Nyoka), Stacy Wimbush (Mark), Tiffany Turner (Deda), Erica Hargrove and Valanda Hargrove; his grandfather James Thomas Hargrove; and his parents-in-law, Douglas Cooke and Doris Hawkins. He is also survived by other relatives, extended family members, and dear friends.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Rowland Chapel Christian Church (2293 Epsom Rocky Ford Rd, Henderson, NC 27537). A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the same location.
