He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Corbett Stainback; his son Barron Kentley Stainback of Henderson; his grandson Benjamin Wilson Stainback; his brother Robert Wayne; his nephew Dennis Stainback (LaRose); his great-nephews, Al Stainback (Samantha) and Josh Stainback; his nieces and nephews, Amos McLemore, Jonathan McLemore (Barbara), Danny Stainback, Larry Stainback, Garner Corbett, Connie Boretti and Dr. Amanda Corbett; Lydia A. Sullivan of Mooresville.
