He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Patterson Mast and Grace Blalock Mast; his former wife Harriette Glass Mast; his wife Peggy Snipes Mast; his daughters, Beth Flye (Dicky) and Susan McSwain (Jeff); his grandchildren, Claire Donahoe (Will), Andrew Flye (Mallory), Emily McSwain, Caroline Ryskiewich (Alex), Malissa McSwain and David McSwain; his great grandchildren, Grace, Mathis Donahoe, Harriette and Ira Flye; his stepsons, Patrick Noble (Mandy) and Nesbit Noble; his stepgrandchildren, Peyton, Taylor and Collin Noble; and his brothers, Pat Mast of Winston-Salem, George Mast (Gayle) of Smithfield and Mack Mast (Margaret) of Lexington. He was also cherished by His children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren.
