We are sad to announce that, on June 29, 2022, at the age of 82, Howard Clayton Lawrence (Henderson, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Gill Clayton and Leah Elizabeth Davis Clayton; his son Michael J. Clayton; and his siblings, Evelyn Clayton, Elsie C. Dement, Ruth C. Lloyd, Rebecca C. Frazier, Edison Clayton, Bobby Clayton, Harold Clayton, Ted Clayton and Roger Clayton.
He is survived by: his wife Betty P. Clayton; his children, Deborah C. "Debbie" Capps of Raleigh, Lawrence H. "Larry" Clayton, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA and Randall C. "Randy" Clayton (Christine "Christy") of Apex; his grandchildren, Davis Clayton, Gray Clayton and Wade Clayton; and his brother Alton G. Clayton of Henderson.
