He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Wade Vaughan and Katie Lee Walker Vaughan; his wife Barbara Jean Vaughan; and his siblings, Wade "Nookie" Vaughan, Herman "Fat Boy" Vaughan, Shirley Vaughan Edwards, Willie Mae Vaughan Wray and Dorothy Vaughan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Campbell of Henderson and Sandra Floyd of Clayton; his siblings, Hugh Vaughan of Henderson, Leon Vaughan (Janie) of Henderson and Alice Chichester of Tennessee; his stepdaughter Donna; and his adoptive son Bobby. He is also survived by two grandsons; six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
