He was predeceased by: his parents, Brooks Parham Ayscue, Sr. and Mildred Travis Ayscue; his son Jesse James Ayscue; his brothers, Brooks Ayscue, Jr. and Mike Ayscue; and his grandson Jonathan Holder.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy A. Long (Rick), Sheila A. Holder (Mike) of Henderson and Michelle A. Bassett of Norlina; his grandchildren, Cody Long, Heather Hester, Brittany Hester, Chris Holder, Amber Cash, Dustin Holder, Blake Ayscue, Dillon Bassett, Justin Bassett, Gregory Bassett, Jr., Megan Ayscue and Dawson Ayscue; his siblings, Pam King of Middleburg, Bruce Ayscue of Middleburg and Duck Ayscue of Ridgeway; and his friend Irene Ayscue. He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
