He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce Edwards Poole and James Howard Poole; and his sister Tammy P. Stone. He is survived by: his wife Rita Tingen Poole; his children, Nikki Poole (Jerry) and Jimmy Poole (Crystal); his grandchildren, Michael Edwards, Josh Poole and Mekala Poole; and his great grandchildren, Emma Edwards, Sophia Edwards and Kenley Edwards.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Victory Baptist Church (475 J P Taylor Rd, Henderson, NC 27537). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
