She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Noah Sheppard and Mary Selma Richardson Sheppard; her husband Clyde Preston Pearson; her sister Patsy Anita Sheppard; and her grandchildren, Preston Ray Skirvin and Lacy Sheppard Skirvin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Pearson Adams (Tony) of Durham and Anna Pearson Skirvin (Rodger) of Monroe; her granddaughters, Alexandra Kate Adams (Erin), Lydia Grace Adams, Ava Suzanne Adams and Emma Jeanne Skirvin Sueling (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Annalyn Rae Sueling and Ella James Sueling; and her caregivers, Pattie Burwell, Shirlina Burwell and Mary Burwell.
