He is survived by: his wife Rachel Bagbey Thomas; his children, Jerry Dean Thomas, Jr., Kathy Thomas Kyle (Byron) and Sharon Thomas Matthews (Jesse); his grandchildren, Shawn Thomas Matthews (Bailey), Joshua Thomas Kyle and Kalyn Nicole Kyle; and his nieces and nephews, Mike Thomas, Chad Thomas, Brad Thomas, Jason Thomas, Jennifer Boone and Jessica Renn.
