He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Gothran Meacham and Aileen Denton Meacham; and his siblings, Winifred "Wink" Williams, Joyce Paschall and Wesley Meacham.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Patterson Meacham; his children, Debbie L. Lytle (Harry) of Charlotte, Brenda K. Jordan (Lee) of Oxford and Guy D. Meacham of Oxford; his grandsons, Anthony Grissom (Elizabeth) and Jonathan Mertz (Jessica); and his great grandchildren, Isla Mertz, Reese Mertz, Sadie Mertz and Lennox Grissom.
