Joan Sachs Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 14, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Joan Sachs (Henderson, North Carolina), born in Baltimore, Maryland. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Miriam Hartz and Louis Hartz; her husband Nathan Sachs; and her sister Marilyn Levin. She is survived by: her children, Susan (Susan Sutton) of Durham and Louis (Madelaine) of Henderson; her grandson Joseph Sachs (Brooke Davis); her great grandchildren, Ava Sachs and Sophie Sachs of Culpepper, VA.; and her sisters-in-law, Anne Sachs of Annapolis, MD and Mickey Sachs of Bel Air, MD. She is also survived by 3 nephews and 5 nieces and 10 great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donation can be made to H. Leslie Perry Memorial Library, Ruin Creek Animal Protection Service or Community Home Health and Hospice in Henderson, or a charity of the donors choosing.
