He is survived by: his wife Shelby Johnson Jarvis; his children, Teresa Reynolds (Brian Seiwell) of Fredricksburg, VA, Jennifer L. White (Henry) of Hertford, Joseph "Jody" L. Jarvis, Jr. (Jessica) of Columbia, Steve Turner (Sheila) of Conway, Kenny Wayne Turner (Stephanie) of Conway and Jeffery Leon Jarvis (April) of Henderson; and his siblings, Cora Reid of Elizabeth City, Ida Mae Finch, Murriell McCulley of Farmville, VA, Becky Hoggard of Windsor, Clifton Jarvis of Wilmington, Wayne Jarvis and Tim Jarvis. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
