Kelvin Keith Cottrell Obituary
Kelvin "Keith" Cottrell, 73, of Henderson, North Carolina passed away on April 27, 2026 at his home. He was born March 9, 1953, to the late Lonnie Steward Cottrell and Odell Cottrell Richards.
He owned and operated a lawn and landscaping business before retiring to care for his late wife, Nancy Terry Cottrell.
Keith graduated from Henderson High School in 1971, then enlisted in the army as a PFC.
He served in Frankfurt, Germany for two years as an IT security technician while living off base in Konigstein until 1973.
He traveled to London, Brussels, and cities in Germany.
He is survived by his siblings: Sandra Greenland, Coral Springs, Florida; Diane Dickerson, Oxford; Jerry Cottrell (Mary), Mount Olive; Candy Cottrell, Wake Forest; brother-in-law, Allen Terry (Diane), Youngsville; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces, and great nephews.
