He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Rhodes Sr. and Ina Davis Rhodes; his son Kenneth "Kenny" Robert Rhodes Jr.; and his brothers, John Wesley Rhodes Jr. (J. W.) and James Shelton Rhodes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Rhodes Hamlin (Willie), Stacy Renee'Rhodes, Amy Rhodes Boyd (Brian) and Kendra Rhodes; his stepdaughter Destina Tingen (Rodney); and his sisters, Linda Rhodes McDowell, Betty Rhodes Lewis (Wayne) and Kathy Rhodes Wade (Walter). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other extended family.
