She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lee Hargrove Sr. and Dilcy Kearney. She is survived by: her husband David Best; her daughter Shirley H. Gray; her grandchildren, Lita Richardson, Crystal Hinnant, Timothy Boykin and Nelson Jones; and her brothers, Roy Lee Hargrove Jr. and Calvin Hargrove. She is also survived by 2 Grandchildren, 3 Bonus Grandchildren, and a host of other relatives.
