With sadness, we share the passing of Lora Hargrove of Henderson, North Carolina. Lora, born on March 18, 1967 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away on October 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Lucy A. Hargrove; and her niece Shawntee McBride. She is survived by: her son Perry Hargrove of Henderson; her grandson Pierson "PJ" Hargrove of Winston-Salem; her siblings, Jeffrey Hargrove (Denise) of South Hill, Virginia and Theresa Holiman of Henderson; her nieces and nephews, Tia Hargrove, Alesha "Lee Lee" Hargrove, James "Junior" Russell Jr., Heaven "Vaeh" Hargrove-Whitley, Sa'Niyah "Niyah" Russell, Aajah "Jah" Hargrove, Ariyon "Moo Moo" Lee, Shannon Harris (Diya), Deshawn, Denise and Brooklyn; and her close friends, Inez Farrar, Marlene Hardy and Elizabeth Wilson.

Viewing was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Roanoke Zion Rzua Church (3884 State Rte 903, Bracey, VA 23919).
