She was predeceased by : her parents, Elizabeth Abbott Choplin and Joseph Presley Choplin; her husband Charles Russell Parham; her daughter Cheryl Hanks; and her siblings, Sadie C. Mustian, Effie C. Wright, Melvin Choplin, Ollie Choplin, Mary Jo C. Coghill, Clemon Choplin, Pete Choplin and Duke Choplin.

She is survived by : her children, Dianne B. Walker (Bob) of Henderson, Robin Parham of Henderson and Dr. Darrin Moore of Lumberton; her stepchildren, Sharon P. Reese of Henderson and Keith Parham of Greensboro; and her grandchildren, Chris Fisher (Scarlette), Adrian Fisher (Kathryn), Cory Smith (Brittney), Hayley Compton (Travis), Kara Reese (Stephen Carroll), Michael Reese (Brooke), Matthew Reese, Daniel Reese (Morgan), Graci Parham, Bradley Parham, Alexis Powell (Quentin), Sam Moore, Cory Moore and Stephanie Walker. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
