It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Hicks Hunt (Henderson, North Carolina), born in Franklin, North Carolina, who passed away on November 13, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Ford Hicks, Jr. and Mary Helen Prewer Hicks; her daughter Jennifer Lynn Hunt; and her siblings, Helen "Faye" Champion, James "Jimmy" Hicks and Frank Hicks, III.
She is survived by: her children, Mary "Missy" Gore (Aaron) of Durham, Samantha Hunt of Henderson and Harold Duke Hunt, III of Norlina; her brother Sammy Hicks (Regina) of Henderson; and her granddaughter Alissa Lagos (Erick).
