She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Ann Hedgepeth Tippett and Henry Crawford Tippett; and her siblings, Shelby Goodwin, Alex Tippett and Charlie Tippett.
She is survived by: her siblings, Katie Louise Wood, Mary Ray (Millard), Helen Tippett Inman, Dorothy "Dot" Woodlief (Bennie), William Tippett (Shirley), Roy Tippett (Jean), James "Jim" Tippett (Rhonda) and Frank Tippett (Gail).
A graveside service was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Bethel Baptist Church (1238 New Bethel Church Rd, Henderson, NC 27537).
