She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Ashworth and Odell Ashworth of Transylvania County; and her husband Norman Sexton. She is survived by: her son Butch; her granddaughters, Jennifer, Amanda, Melanie and Carolyn; her son-in-law Jonathan; her great grandchildren, Jackie, Kennedi, Lucas and Liam; her brother Jimmy Ashworth (Brevard); her brother-in-law Jim Sexton (Mills River); and also Janice Sexton. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
