With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Lynn Cannon Corn of Henderson, North Carolina, born in Hendersonville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 17, 2022 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her mothers, Reverend Connie D. Cannon and Grace Hyder Cannon; and her siblings, Thomas E. Cannon, Talmadge Cannon, Billy J. Cannon, Kenneth Cannon, Ruby J. Freeman and Patsy Holder.

She is survived by: her husband Ray Corn; her children, Crystal Corn, Tony Corn (Lee Ann) and Hollie Lifshey (Richard); her grandchildren, Veronica Anderson (Matthew), Jonathan Levi (Carol), Grace Goforth (Aaron), Caroline and Lukas Corn; her great grandchildren, Teagan, Parker Anderson and Weston Levi; her siblings, Jackie Halford (Hubert), Dean Holder (Lelon), Doris Connor (Bill), Connie Kuykendall (David), Larry Cannon (Celestia), Gail Rogers (Bob) and Jerry Cannon (Janet); and her friends, Ann Hill, Pam Miller, Hazel Shepherd and Arlene Watkins. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

For nearly 80 years, she was the rock and foundation for her family and community.
