It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Ryan Darnell (Henderson, North Carolina), born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Ricky Gary Darnell and Joan Allgood Rainey of Henderson; his children, Amber Null, Autumn Null of Henderson and Liam Darnell of Henderson; his siblings, Wendy Carter (David) of Henderson and Donnie Allgood (Gina) of Henderson; his niece Haley Carter; and his nephew Hunter Allgood (Alyssa).
