He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Smith and Sally B. Robertson. He is survived by: his daughter Palestina Dunn; and his siblings, Samuel Smith Sr. and Carolyn Waymer.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Davis-Royster Funeral Service, Inc. (926 S Garnett St, Henderson, NC 27536). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the BIG Ruin Creek Baptist Church (16 Big Ruin Creek Ln, Henderson, NC 27537).
