He was predeceased by : his parents, William Barber Franklin and Willie Frances Tuck Franklin. He is survived by : his wife Patsy Setliff Franklin; his daughter Robin F. Jones (Robbie); his granddaughter Angela Dale Jones; his siblings, Barbara F. Hines, Betty Jean F. Williams (Mike) and Michael Wayne Franklin (Ann); and his pet Mercedes "Sadie".
