He is survived by : his children, Melvin Hargrove Jr., Larry Hargrove, Deborah Hargrove Porter and Stanley Hargrove; and his sisters, Beatrice Chestnut and Carolyn Daye. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren, and a host of other relatives.
