He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacey Tart and Virginia Tunstall Tart; and his brothers, Prentice Tart and Lacey "Pete" Tart. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Mason Tart; his son Jackie Adams (Katherine) of Henderson; his siblings, Stella Shealy of Henderson, Shirley Hathaway of Franklinton and Freeman Tart of Bangor, Wisconsin; his granddaughter Christina Thompson of Henderson; his great grandchild Edna Thompson; and his stepgrandchildren, Emily Bowes and Jacob Bowes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
