She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathanial Roosevelt Lassiter and Sarah Gupton Lassiter; her husband James Lee Williams; her daughter Rhonda H. Cleaton; and her brothers, Nathaniel "Sonny" Lassiter, William "Bill" Lassiter and Malcolm "Mack" Lassiter.
She is survived by: her children, Rose H. Tart (Milton) and William R. "Billy" Hock; and her sister Sarah L. Cogbill. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and a close friend.
