She was predeceased by: her parents, William Newell Carter and Mary Frances Smelley Carter; and her husband John Henry Stallings Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Denton (Terry), Cindy Stallings, John Stallings (Kathy) and Ricky Stallings (Robin); her grandchildren, Ashley Denton and Jonathan Stallings; her great grandchildren, Lucas Stallings and Jacob Stallings; and her niece Linda Thomas. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and extended family.
