He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Lucille Hilliard and Charlie White Hilliard; and his siblings, Lucille Haithcock, Myrtle Jean Mosheim, Loraine Maynard, Willard Hilliard, Henry Hilliard, Mack Hilliard, Ralph Hilliard and Albert Hilliard.
He is survived by: his sons, Charlie Perry Hilliard (Becky W. Hilliard) of Raleigh and Lawrence Wayne Hilliard of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Matthew Hilliard (Karyl Hilliard) and Whitney Hilliard; his great grandchildren, Nolan Hilliard and Ella Hilliard; and his siblings, Joyce Hilliard Carroll of Macon, Gilbert Hilliard of Macon and Warren Pete Hilliard of Macon.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the J. M. White Funeral Home (60 Zeb Robinson Rd, Henderson, NC 27536). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the White Funeral Home Chapel (60 Zeb Robinson Rd, Henderson, NC 27536).
