He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Thomas Daye and Una Mae Kelley Daye. He is survived by: his children, Reneka Colbert (Daniel), Antwane Daye (Leslie), Teyon Daye (Jacqueline), Corey Jones and Brandon Jones; his stepchildren, Terrell Farrar (April), Rashad Alexander (Tilisa), Travis Alexander (Brianna), Arsenio Alexander (Krystal) and Kierra Alexander Gayles (Curtis); and his siblings, Gwynn Lewis (James), Josephine Blacknall, Johnny Howard Daye, Phyllis Jackson (George) and Blondie Gaines.
