She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Jim Pitman and Helen Autry Pitman; her husband Bernard Ray "Buddy" Jones; and her son Darrell Jones. She is survived by: her daughter Pamala Jacobs (Raymond); her sisters, Evelyn Dickerson, Betty Hite (Terry), Pat Hite (Edward) and Beverly Candler; her grandson Haywood Inscoe; and her brother David E. Pitman Sr. (Shirley).
