She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Sims Miller and Bernice Rebecca Ellington Miller; and her siblings, Ethel Martel, Evelyn Crocker, Ellen Blankenship, Dorothy Allison, Hazel Faulkner, Bill Miller Jr., Isaac Miller and Bobby Journigan.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Joseph Cleveland; her children, Edward Patrick Hayes (Jennifer) and Wendy Hayes Bunn (Frankie); her grandchildren, Isaac Hayes Allen (Kaitlin), Jayden Edward Allen, Elizabeth Valdez-House and Ruby Valdez-House; and her siblings, Clifton W. Journigan and Carolyn Rebecca Miller. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sossamon Funeral Home of Henderson Tuesday (1833 Oxford Rd, Henderson, NC 27536).
