He is survived by: his wife Margaret Gail Evans Overby; his daughter Lynn O. Watson of Raleigh; his stepson Dustin Overby of Henderson; and his siblings, Betty O. Edwards (Wallace) of Henderson and Wilbert Overby of Norlina. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
