She was predeceased by: her father Bob Horton; and her nephew Richard Pearce. She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Adcox Horton; her husband Jay Ellis; her children, Jessica Ellis (Chetna) and Jackson Ellis (Danielle); her grandchildren, Kinsley Ellis and Jack Ellis; her siblings, Tammy Pearce (Ricky) and Robbie Horton (Lorie); her father-in-law Jackie Ellis (Bonnie); and her brother-in-law Spencer Ellis (Betsy). She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church (905 Americal Rd, Henderson, NC 27537). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM and at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
