She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Andrew Ayscue and Elizabeth Currin Ayscue; her sons, James D. Allen Jr. and Anthony P. Allen; her granddaughter Bethany Allen; and her siblings, Florence Pendergrass and Ted Ayscue.
She is survived by: her husband James Douglas Allen, Sr.; her daughters, Michelle A. Royster and Melinda Allen; her sisters, Martha Hardee and Carolyn Paul; her grandchildren, Ricky Carroll, Lindsey Carroll, Jackson Royster, Samantha Allen, Thomas Allen, Hannah Allen, Anthony Allen, Kyleth Allen, Alexis Shelton and Brandon Shelton; and her great grandchildren, Drayden Bowes, Mia Allen and Ayden Harp.
