He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Zach Evans and Willie Dorothea White Evans; his children, Cynthia Whitley, Kenneth Evans, Shelia Evans, Roslyn Sandlin and Vanessa Scott; and his siblings, Edward Evans, Lucy Henderson and Yvonne Tomlinson. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchild.
