He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie and Marie Stover; his brother Gary; and his nephews, Kevin and Gary Jr..

He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Stover-Gallo and Tammy Sessa; his sons-in-law, Tommy Gallo and Josh Breckling; his grandchildren, Michael, Isabella, Hunter, Olivia and Ava; and his former wife Cindy Stover (John Rose).
