Susie Vick Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susie Vick of Henderson, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Junious Goodwin Peoples and Hattie Robertson Peoples; her husband Earl Vick; her grandson Chad Vick; and her siblings, Norwood Peoples, Edwin Peoples, Hattie Ranes, Ethel Clark, Clara Abbott, Louise Reynolds, Katherine Shinkle and Myrtle White.

She is survived by: her son David Vick (Stephanie); her grandson Chris Vick (Crystal); her great grandchildren, Noah Vick and Callie Vick; her sister Grace O'Geary (Pete); her caregivers, Beverly, Gloria, Cindy, Latoya, Kenzie, Alicia, DeDe, Lakyjah and Alphonso; and her close friends, Jean Harris, Vera Caulder, Ted Bowen and Shirley Hoyle. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers & food, memorial donations may be made to North Henderson Baptist Church.
