He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Chester Vaughan and Irene Harris Vaughan. He is survived by: his children, Darlene Vaughan (Jackie Peoples, Jr.) of Henderson, Donna Lewis of Alabama, Nancy Twiddy (David) of Raleigh and David Vaughan of South Carolina; his stepson Dalton Allen of Lake Royale; and his sister Brenda Long of Wilmington. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and three step- great grandchildren.
