He was predeceased by: his parents, Lilah Elizabeth Buchanan Floyd and Frank Porter Floyd; his son Greg Floyd; and his children-in-law, Steve Fletcher and Teen Floyd.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Floyd Fletcher, T. W. Floyd Jr. (Elaine), Gerald Floyd (Donna) and Dean Floyd (Teresa); his grandchildren, Seth Floyd (Elana), Franklin Floyd (Rebeccah), Gerry Floyd (Heather) and Colton Floyd (Tory); and his great grandchildren, Gentry Floyd, Graham Floyd, Monroe Floyd, Thomas Floyd, Leigha Floyd, Paul Floyd, Abigail Floyd, Jonathan Floyd, Hannah Floyd and Asher Floyd.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Sandy Creek Baptist Church (1699 Weldons Mill Rd, Henderson, NC 27537).
