Thurman Dale Johnson Obituary

Thurman Dale "TC" Johnson, age 61, of Henderson, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at his home.

Thurman, better known to many as "TC," was a skilled master carpenter for many years and took great pride in his work. He was known as a kind and caring soul who truly enjoyed making others happy and helping those around him. He will be remembered for his generous heart, hardworking nature, and the love he shared with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Elaine Boone; his father, Gerald Dale Johnson; and his two sisters, Annette Marie Johnson and Cathy J. Neal.

He is survived by his son, Cody Johnson of Louisburg, NC; his brother, Dean Johnson of Pennsylvania; his nephew, Thomas Neal (Kristin) of Henderson, NC; his niece, Katherine "Kat" Johnson of Henderson, NC; his two great-nieces, Mya Neal of Kittrell, NC and Bella Hunt of Henderson, NC; and his great-great-nephew, Liam Overton of Kittrell, NC.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of TC on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at 6323 Raleigh Road, Kittrell, NC.
