He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph W. Lassiter and Estelle Edwards Lassiter; his stepson Donald Riggan; and his siblings, Helen Franklin, Jennie Sue Daniels, Kathleen Roberson, Rebecca Overby and J. T. Lassiter.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Pulley Lassiter; his children, Michelle Foster (Chris) and Kevin Lassiter (Gayla); and his grandchildren, Hannah Hodge (Seth), Neil Lassiter and Holden Foster.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fuller Chapel Christian Church (1470 N Lynnbank Rd, Henderson, NC 27537).
