He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Belle Roberson Ball and Clarence Norman Ball; and his brother Robert "Bobby" Norman Ball. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ellington Ball; his children, Stephen Scott Ball of Wilmington and Renee B. Brumagin (Eric) of Lewisville; his grandson Bailey Brumagin of Boone; and his siblings, Thomas Leonard Ball (Shelby) of Henderson and Jeanette Ball Brummitt of Henderson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
