She was predeceased by: her parents, Lena Stegall Varker and William Thomas Varker; her husbands, Vernon Woodrow, Burnette and James Earl Cobb, Sr.; her siblings, Lucille Paschall Lancaster, C. T. Varker and Sterling Varker; and her half-brother Billy.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Rosa Cobb Edwards (Doug) of Wilson; her half-siblings, Bob Varker (Carol) of Florida, Ann Varker Goswick of Franklinton and Shirley Varker Klaren of Springfield, VA.; her grandsons, James Earl Cobb, III (Laura), Joseph Cobb (Paige), Jacob Cobb (Sara) and Joshua Edwards (Ashley); and her nephews, Patrick Varker of Raleigh and David Varker of Kittrell. She is also survived by four step-great grandchildren.
