She was predeceased by: her parents, Steven Pete Dickerson and Annie Ruth Thompson Dickerson; her siblings, Rebecca D. Smith, Helen D. Beaver, Lottie Mae Dickerson, Ruby Jean D. King, Dorsey Lee Dickerson, Steven Dickerson Jr. and Bruce Allen Dickerson; and her grandson Keith Stainback.

She is survived by: her children, Vivian "Vickie" R. Brame (Lawrence) of Henderson, Donald Ray Roberson (Linda) of Henderson and James Henry Roberson Jr. of Franklinton. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
