He was predeceased by: his parents, Eley McCrain (Dick) and Reetha Byers McCrain; his wife Patricia; and his sons, Robert and John Lee McCrain.
He is survived by: his sisters, Carolyn Stepp (David) of Charlotte, NC and Carol Jones of Hendersonville; his daughter Mary Taylor (Gene); his grandchildren, Anthony, Brandon, Payton, Jacob, Hailey, Justin and Nick; his stepgrandson Colton; and his friend Jo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
