He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolly Lester Johnson and Minnie Davis Johnson; and his wife Martha Johnson. He is survived by: his brothers, Tommy Johnson (Dawn) of Boonville, Rev. Michael Johnson (Thresia) of Princeton and Rev. Paul Johnson (Carolyn) of Easley; his brother-in-law Roger Capps (Tammy); his nephews, Brent Capps (Frances), Roger Capps Jr. and Luke Capps; and his niece Karen Capps.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Mountain View Memorial Park (392 Tabernacle Rd, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
