He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hollis Justus and Annie Sue Marlowe Justus; his daughter Deonna Justus Constant; and his daughter-in-law Debby Hill Justus. He is survived by: his wife Doris H. Justus; his son David L. Justus, II (Renee) of Hendersonville; his grandchildren, Daniel Justus (Tonya), Lee Anderson (Janelle) and Tracey Justus Player (Michael); his great grandchildren, Maylene Player and Turner Player; and his son-in-law Wade Constant (Olivia).
